Review:
Overall GREAT series. Lots of twists and turns and best of all a heroine that was utterly believable and likable at the same time. Rose is spunky and sarcastic and oh so much fun! But she’s not the girl that everyone longs for, although she has her fair share of suitors. She also makes mistakes and is essentially a teen girl dealing with extraordinary situations. And the supporting cast of characters are also wonderful and very well developed. The world that Richelle Mead creates is also very well thought out and is a microcosm for our own world in many aspects. For a YA series, she’s able to tackle various moral, political, and social issues that is very relatable to our own world in spite of the supernatural elements. And generally just rip roaring fun.
