@cherryslushesforadrian: First off, THANK YOU! Glad you like the blog. As for your question about PRODIGY, I did start reading it, but I haven’t gotten much further than chapter one. >_< So I can’t quite answer your question accurately yet. But yes, I do feel as if they are introducing what seems like a possible potential alternative love interest into the equation. But there was slightly that element with Kaede/Day too, don’t you think? I mean nothing really came out of it, but there was that slight flirtation at first prior to him meeting June. But what I loved about how Marie Lu dealt with that relationship was that Kaede was not treated like the usual love rival, she was much more a foil to June in terms of fighting/morals/etc… So I think even if there is a love triangle in Prodigy (and I will address this once I actually finish the book and write up the review), I think Marie Lu would justice with the characters and I don’t think Prodigy will be about who June will choose, but rather about the dystopian conflict of the two sides of the war.
@small-town-dreamer: I haven’t heard of that book yet. But I’ll look it up. I have a monstrously long TBR list and after coming back from Comic Con I have found a lot more cool, interesting books. I’m very glad that some of the big 6 publishers were there and they are definitely excited about some great new things (and for good reason!) And I will blog about them in a little bit. =)

Sorry for not replying to ask msgs.

It’s a little hard to answer them on my itouch. And wifi is sketchy here at comic con anyways. BUUUUT when comic con is finally over I will definitely be sharing a lot of new (or new to me at least…) books that I’m suppper stoked about! Stay tuned!

Came back from ALA with a bunnnnnnnnch of great ARCs. Can’t wait to show them off later. =)

I will be attending ALA in Anaheim tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing all the great new galleys!

Okay, I need your feedback! Are the “useful tags” actually useful?

Do you guys want me to update it more often or organize it better? And also do you guys want me to tag books with the type of genre(s) they are (for example: contemporary, science fiction, dystopia, romance, historical, etc…) If you have any other suggestions, feel free to drop me a line. =)

Have you read the hush hush series?
Anonymous

Nope. But it’s already on my TBR list which I’ve been meaning to post… >_>

I feel like you guys are always recommending me books while I don’t do a good enough job recommending books myself.

I shall change that with my upcoming Favorite Series and plain old “Thao Recs!” posts (about random books that I just LOVE LOVE LOVE, but are very underrated and don’t get as much exposure as the newer, more popular, glitzy YAs do) coming up. =)

Thao you must definitely read 'Anne and the French Kiss'. it's one of my many fave books lol.
small-town-dreamer

I definitely will! It shall be going into my library queue (I need to utilize the fact that I have a library right across the street from where I work more often!!!)

have you read the YA book 'Anne and the French Kiss' by Stephanie Perkins?
Anonymous

I have not, but I’ve been seeing it around. And I seem to be in the mood for contemporary YAs lately so I’m definitely adding it to my TBR list. I tend to be a bigger speculative fiction fan, but there’s just something about summer and reading Sarah Dessen, Meg Cabot and the like. =)

I basically decided to do the TOP 5 FAVORITE AUTHORS thing because I just wanted to fangirl over Diana Wynne Jones.

And now I’m having a hard time thinking up 4 other authors that can be comparable to her.
